Changed your mind, or need a different size? No stress. Start it yourself in our online returns portal - it's quick for you and easy for us. We're surfers, not fine print.
The short version
You've got 30 days from delivery to return or exchange an unused item in its original condition. Start it yourself in our returns portal - that's the quickest way for everyone.
We want you stoked with your gear. If something isn't right - wrong size, changed your mind, not what you pictured - head to the portal within 30 days and we'll sort an exchange, credit or refund.
What can come back
To keep it fair for everyone, returned items need to be:
- Unused and unworn - no surf wax, sand, sunscreen or signs of wear.
- In original condition with any tags still attached.
- Returned within 30 days of the delivery date.
A few things we can't accept back: gift cards, and any item that's been used, washed or damaged after delivery. Sale items are eligible for exchange or store credit unless they're marked final sale.
How to start a return
Our returns portal walks you through the whole thing in a couple of minutes - no waiting on an email back from us.
Head to our returns portal and log in with your order number and email.
Choose what you're sending back and whether you'd like an exchange, store credit or a refund.
The portal generates your return shipping label and instructions on the spot. Pack the item in its original packaging if you can.
Drop it off, and we'll process your exchange, credit or refund as soon as it reaches us. You'll get updates the whole way.
Exchanges
Need a different size or a different surfboard cover? The returns portal handles exchanges too - pick the size you want and it'll be on its way, no back-and-forth needed.

Refunds
Once your return arrives and passes a quick once-over, we'll refund the original payment method. It usually lands within a few business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
Original shipping is non-refundable unless the item was faulty or we sent the wrong thing. Prefer store credit? We can do that instead - just say the word.
Faulty or damaged
If something arrives faulty, or a fault shows up down the track, that's covered separately - and generously. Every Boardsox product is covered against manufacturing faults.
Spotted something? Email us a couple of photos and your order number and we'll make it right - repair, replace or refund. You won't pay return postage on a genuine fault.

How long do I have to return something?

I received the wrong item - what now?
Our mistake, our fix. Start it in the portal or email us with a photo - we'll send the right one and cover the return.
Can I return a sale item?
Sale items can be exchanged or returned for store credit, unless they're marked final sale. Faulty sale items are always covered.
Can I return in-store?
Yes - bring it to our Ocean Grove showroom with your order confirmation and we'll handle it on the spot.
