Boardsox Warranty Policy

At Boardsox, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and care from the original date of purchase.

Surfboard Covers & Board Slings

Boardsox surfboard covers and board slings are covered by a 3 Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase.

If a product is found to be faulty due to defective materials or workmanship, Boardsox will, at its discretion, repair or replace the item after assessment of the claim.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect or improper care
• Damage resulting from airline transit, freight handling or third-party transport
• Cuts, punctures, burns or abrasion caused by external factors
• UV fading or cosmetic wear from regular use
• Modifications or repairs carried out by anyone other than Boardsox

Surf Hats, Change Mats, Ponchos & Accessories

Boardsox surf hats, change mats, ponchos and accessories are covered by a 6 Month Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase.

If a product is found to be faulty due to defective materials or workmanship, Boardsox will, at its discretion, repair or replace the item after assessment of the claim.

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect or improper care
• UV fading or cosmetic wear from regular use
• Damage caused by accidental snagging, tearing or abrasion
• Modifications or repairs carried out by anyone other than Boardsox

Repairs

Boardsox understands that products used in surf and travel environments can experience wear and accidental damage over time. Where possible, we may offer repair services for damage that is not covered under warranty.

Examples of non-warranty repairs may include:

• Tears, cuts or punctures
• Damaged zippers or hardware
• Abrasion from regular use
• Damage caused during travel or transport
• General wear and tear

Repair requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the nature and extent of the damage, repairs may incur a fee, including the cost of return shipping.

Please contact Boardsox with photographs and a description of the damage to determine whether a repair is possible.

Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, please contact Boardsox with:

• Your proof of purchase
• A description of the issue
• Clear photographs showing the fault

All warranty claims will be assessed by Boardsox. If the claim is approved, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.

Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
